The Need
Visma’s software division consists of nearly 200 teams that monitor customer-facing applications for performance and stability. With staff spread across multiple countries, the key challenge was to broadcast real-time service dashboards and warning systems throughout their office spaces—ensuring that everyone had access to up-to-date information simultaneously.
Beyond performance monitoring, Visma’s HR department also needed a solution to share internal communications such as weather and traffic updates, office news, and announcements about corporate events. Prior to Digital Signage OS, Visma relied on a basic Chrome Stick setup that opened a browser to display dashboards—but it lacked the robustness and control they required.
